What is the hottest TV opera in 2007? Any Chinese TV fans would tell you  " It is definitely 'The Assault Soldiers' " Interestingly, I did not find any beautiful girls or handsome guys in that play. What I find is just a short and small hero with a little dullness in that play .Nor I did n find any fashionable clothes on the main characters.  In that play, the clothes the characters wear most are military garments.Even so, this TV still won unprecedented success. Almost every one in China knows "Xue San Duo", the name of the main character. Why is this TV so popular? As far as I am concerned, the TV plays of military theme were never so popular before. In my opinion, on one side, it is because nowadays, people like the main character, Xue, are very few, Xue is a simple minded and persistent guy. En, I can say he is the "Chinese Forrest Gump" They have too many similarities like they are both not very clever but persistent in doing the things they decided to do. This kind of people seem like "idiot " but at bottom they are the real wise men. This kind of people are what our society need most. On the other side, the military boots and scenes also earn points.
